Therapy sessions are $200 for a 50 minute session. Payment is due at the time of each session. A valid debit or credit card is required to remain on file through SimplePractice. If you prefer to pay through Zelle, payment is due immediately following your appointment. Any outstanding balance must be paid before another session can take place.

All sessions are virtual. I provide teletherapy to women located in California and Texas through SimplePractice. Once you become a client, you will receive a secure link through your client portal that you will use to join your sessions from a private location.

Sessions are held weekly at the same day and time. During your 15 minute consultation, if we decide to move forward, we will look at available times and schedule your first session. That time will then become your ongoing weekly therapy appointment.
-
Yes. I offer a complimentary 15 minute consultation before your first therapy session. This is a brief opportunity for us to talk about what you are looking for support with, answer questions about working together, and determine whether my practice may be a good fit for your needs. The consultation is not a therapy session. If we decide to move forward, we can schedule your first session during the call.
-
Once your first session is scheduled, you will receive access to your secure SimplePractice client portal. You will complete your intake paperwork there before we meet and receive the secure link you will use for your virtual appointments.

There is no set amount of time that works for everyone. The length of therapy depends on what brings you in, what you want to work through, and how the work develops over time. Because we may be looking at long standing patterns, relationships, and painful experiences from the past, this work can take time. We will continue to talk about your progress and what you need as therapy moves forward.
-
I require at least seven days notice if you need to cancel your weekly session. Cancellations made with less than seven days notice and missed appointments are charged the full $200 session fee.
If you need to change your appointment with less than seven days notice and I have another opening available during the same week, you may move your session to that available time without a cancellation fee. Rescheduling is based on availability and cannot be guaranteed.

I do not accept insurance and my practice is private pay. If your insurance plan includes out of network mental health benefits, I can provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined by your individual insurance plan, so I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to understand your out of network benefits.

I work with adult women in California and Texas who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, difficult relationship patterns, and experiences from the past that continue to affect how they feel today. My work is especially centered on women of color and women whose family, culture, and community are an important part of understanding their story.

The first step is scheduling a complimentary 15 minute consultation. We will briefly talk about what you are looking for, answer any questions you have, and determine whether working together may be a good fit. If we decide to move forward, we can schedule your first therapy session and reserve your ongoing weekly appointment time.
